Braids…
Personally, when I travel I prefer to have my hair in braids. I know some of you are think that braids is only meant for African-American women, but during my time in Ghana, the Caucasian girls got their hair braided too. No matter what hair texture you have, braids is possible for you too. How long they stay in…that’s another story (LOL)…
To show my love for braids, here is a photograph by Viviane Sassen. You should totally visit her website. Her photographs are amazing!
Goodbye America…Akwaaba Ghana!
To start this wonderful travel guide off on the right foot, I would like to start with one of the most amazing places in the world: Ghana! I know you were expecting me to say New York City, LA, London, or Paris, but I spent 5 months of my life in Ghana and it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life! I will start introducing you to various places throughout the capital of Accra and other places in Ghana. These will be places you should definitely go to if you have the chance to travel to Ghana (which I recommend to everybody!) and it will be worthwhile!
Also I will introduce to you various adventures that you can go on and I will provide a step-by-step journey on how to get there, how much it will cost, the most frugal way of getting there, and what to watch out for when you go to certain places. I’m not trying to scare you when I give the real deal on certain places, but just know when you finally arrive to your desired location, it will be all worth it!
Are you ready to travel with me to Ghana?
Get ready, set, GO!
Look out for more posts! Coming soon!
Happy travels!
